Mark your calendars for the 1st Annual Boyle School Celtic Christmas 5K & Fun Run on December 8, 2012
Join the Boyle School of Irish Dance for a Celtic Christmas 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at beautiful Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station, VA.
All earlybird pre-registered runners* will receive a special race t-shirt. Top 3 finishers in each age/gender group (5K) will receive an award and the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K will receive cash prizes.
1-Mile Fun Run & Walk begins at 8:30 am
5K Race begins at 9:30 am
The 5K course will be USA Track and Field-certified. The course map can be found by clicking here.
If you're not up for the 5K race, there will also be a 1-mile walk/fun run so you can still come out, get some exercise, support the dancers and enjoy the festivities!

Earlybird registration through November 17. Online registration runs through Tuesday, December 4.
Onsite registration is available on race day or at the advance packet pickup on Friday, December 7 at Clifton Cafe from 1:30 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Save time by downloading the registration form and bring it with you.
Runners can pick up your race packet in advance on Friday, December 7 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm or 5:00 to 7:00 pm at

*After earlybird registration, shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We are ordering extra shirts in all sizes but at some point, your preferred shirt is not guaranteed. Once we run out of shirts, we run out of shirts!
Interested in Irish dance? The Boyle School of Irish Dance is a certified Irish Dancing School and a member of the An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha in Dublin, Ireland. The school, almost 500 students strong, has locations in Alexandria, Chantilly, Herndon and Manassas. Each year, many Boyle School students qualify for the National Championship and World Championship.
The Boyle School of Irish Dance has performed at weddings, festivals, parties and events in the greater Washington, DC area. Boyle School dancers have performed throughout the Caribbean four times onboard the Carnival Cruise Lines with Ireland at Sea. They were selected to do a performance preview at Wolf Trap for the opening of Riverdance. They have also been booked for two tours throughout the Florida Keys to perform as headliners in the Key Largo and Mantigo Irish Fests. If you would like to add Irish entertainment to your next event please contact Ramonie Brandt, the Boyle School office manager, for more information.
